Thoughts on purchasing your first drone new vs used?

In general, buying used can be a good way to save some money on your first drone; my first drone was used (purchased from a friend). A lot of people I know crashed their first drone due to lack of experience or procedures, probably don’t want to go all out until you’ve purchased something smaller and gotten the feel for it.

If you are buying used, I typically recommend that you inspect the batteries and the drone before making a purchase, even better if you can get a flight test. Make sure the aircraft hovers stably, that the drone isn’t bound to any specific account (most common w/ DJI drones), the video feed is clear and stable, and that the batteries aren’t swelling.

Does anyone know of someone selling a DJI mini 3 pro in good enough condition that it could handle professional freelance work?
