FAA Hitting Non-Compliant Operators With Fines
Looks like the FAA has levied $341,413 in fines against 27 operators for actions in between late 2022 and 2024. These include some well known offenders (flying FPV drone over a NFL game) and some who interfered with First Responders (one of whom almost crashed into a police helicopter).

Honestly, it was only a matter of time before the FAA started cracking down hard on reckless drone operations. $341K in fines across 27 operators isn’t just a slap on the wrist, it’s a serious message.
