It appears as though Senator Lee (R-Utah) ended up not submitting this rule for consideration last night as part of the budget discussions, so it looks as though this issue is (temporarily) squashed.
We should remain vigilant though and keep an eye out for legislators looking to make uninformed or malicious attempts to strip us of our rights to access the NAS as hobbyists or professional UAS pilots!
